Cassandra Stanford is the founder of Strength and Care Music Therapy Services.
She studied at The University of Melbourne to complete her Master of Music Therapy and now works as a registered music therapist (RMT). Before this, she completed a Bachelor of Music at Monash University. Cassandra has also completed a Certificate IV in Disability.
Through this wealth of rounded education, Cassandra has become passionate about the support and advocacy of people from all walks of life.
Over the years she has been heavily involved in many different ensembles and bands including Boroondara Brass Band, The Australian Youth Band, Melba Big Band, university bands and ensembles, high school bands and choirs and more. She currently facilitates the With One Voice Bayswater Choir and hopes to grow her community music facilitation to include drum groups, singing groups and children’s groups.
Cassandra is also a trumpet teacher and specialises in beginner adult trumpet, trombone, guitar, singing, theory, ukulele and piano.
Cassandra performs when and where she can, often engaging in open mic’s, local music festivals and concerts on voice, guitar and trumpet/cornet.
